Update!

First of all, I want to thank everyone for wishing me to get better soon! It really, really brightened up my spirits!
Well…when I went to the doctors on Wednesday, it was pretty positive. I still have fluid in my eye and a small tear, which is the cause of these flashers I’m still seeing (but not as bad). They said its healing pretty good. That was happy news for me! In regards to the small tear that’s there, they’re hoping that the scar tissue will set in and cover it up. Also, if the fluid doesn’t go away, then they’ll just do another surgery to take it out. ;_; LOL I’m off for another 2 weeks though! On top of that, I still have to continue resting. I can’t lift or do anything that will cause a strain. I have to say, I really do miss going to work!

my right eye is getting used to staying open a bit more. The doctors said I could open my left eye if I wanted too, but the only problem with that is it’s really blurry! I’m more near sighted now then I was before (which they said would happen). So, until they say my left eye is getting better to where I can get new glasses, I’m stuck with wearing the current glasses I have now. Best way to describe my vision is if you put one contact in and leave the other one out and then look with both eyes. It gets reaaaaaaaaaaally trippy. LOL So, in the meantime, I just keep my left eye close.

Overall, I’m very happy that my eye is getting better. My spirits were brought up more from the last doctor’s visit. It’s just the recovery takes awhile and I just have to be patient.

…..My new attempt! I’m been dying to draw! I’m going to give it a shot now that my right eye will allow me to see a bit longer. It’s already weird trying to write/type….but we’ll see. I hope everyone has a good weekend! And thank you all again!
